Why we made one print

Most print shops sell hundreds of designs. Scrolling through them all is half the work of buying one.

We wanted to do the opposite: one image, done carefully. Good paper. Pigment inks. A white border that suits a frame. Packing that keeps it flat.

We picked rose hips because they're the overlooked end of a rose's year — the red fruit left on the branch once the petals have dropped.

The artwork is a digital illustration in the style of an old watercolour-and-ink botanical study. We print it to order in three sizes.
